Ugly Chair Becomes Different Kind of Ugly

I had an old chair that I wanted to take with me to my new apartment, just because it was white and it matched the furniture. However, it is also obscenely old and cracked.

This upcycling project is actually my mom's; she had this brilliant idea of making a cover for the chair from a light green, velvety material. Lace was added to make it more interesting. I know the lighting is eerie and not quite flattering, but hey, I like it!

Meanwhile Mary sits quietly on my other chair, thinking that her hat is too big.
